Birthday Gifts

Send a Birthday Cake – with a Name, Personal Message or Photo

A cake waiting at the door on the morning of the birthday is hard to beat. Our patisserie cakes arrive in protective packaging and are ready to serve straight away.

The range goes from classic Sachertorte and Lübeck-style marzipan cake to wild raspberry cake. Many cakes can be decorated with a message of your choice – “Happy Birthday, Mum” or the birthday person’s name written right on top. For an even more personal touch, some cakes come with your own photo as an edible topper. XXL sizes are available for larger gatherings.

Please allow a little more lead time for cakes than for other gifts – the earliest delivery date is shown for every product in the overview.

Sparkling Wine and Wine for a Birthday Toast

A milestone birthday deserves a toast. Alongside classics from wineries and sparkling wine producers, you’ll find bottles with a personalised label: your text, your design, right on the bottle. It works as a small gift on its own or as part of a bigger surprise.

Birthday Gift Boxes

If your gift should hold several little moments, a ready-packed box is the perfect choice: chocolate and snacks for foodies, sparkling wine for a toast, pampering products for anyone who deserves a break – including wellness sets put together especially for men. You’ll find the full selection in our Birthday Gift Boxes category.

Birthday Balloon Gifts

A gift that makes people smile the moment it’s opened: helium balloon gifts float out of the box as soon as the lid comes off – some in XXL size at almost two metres tall. Especially popular for milestone birthdays and wherever children are celebrating too. See all options under Birthday Balloon Gifts.

Small Tokens of Appreciation

Not every birthday needs a big present. For colleagues, neighbours or a friend on the other side of the country, these are often just right:

• Greeting cards with chocolate – personally printed, with a Merci chocolate bar, starting at a low double-digit price.
• Pralines and gift tins – beautifully packaged and ideal for anyone who doesn’t need a whole cake.
• Gift vouchers – for when you’re not sure about their taste and you know it.

Which Birthday Gift Suits Which Occasion?

• Milestone birthday: A large cake or a balloon gift that makes the day stand out. Both also work well as a joint gift from the team.
• Birthday at the office: A personalised cake to share is more practical than a present your colleague has to carry around all day.
• Family far away: A greeting card with chocolate arrives reliably and costs less to ship than larger gifts.
• You don’t know their preferences: A voucher or a neutral treat box with chocolate and snacks.

And if it should be something in bloom after all: our selection of Birthday Flowers has its own category.

Delivery on Your Chosen Date

With the “Delivery date” filter, you can see right in the overview which gifts can be delivered today, tomorrow or on your preferred day. Cakes, boxes and balloon gifts have different lead times – so please check the date on the product itself before ordering.

Our tip: order for delivery on the birthday itself or the day before. And if you’re sending several gifts together, keep in mind that the parcels travel independently of each other.

Frequently Asked Questions About Birthday Gifts

Can I send the gift directly to the birthday person?

Yes. Simply enter the recipient’s delivery address during checkout and we’ll ship it there. No price tag is included – instead, your personal greeting card comes with the gift.

Can I have a cake personalised with a name or photo?

Many cakes can be decorated with a message of your choice, and some also with your own photo. You’ll find the option directly on the product page. Personalised cakes need a little more lead time.

Can I send several gifts together?

You can order several items, but they won’t necessarily arrive in one parcel. Cakes, gift boxes and balloon gifts come from different production sites and are therefore shipped separately.

Are there birthday gifts for men?

Yes. Besides wine and sparkling wine gifts, you’ll find savoury treat boxes and wellness sets put together especially for men.

How much does a birthday gift from FloraPrima cost?

Prices range from small tokens at a low double-digit price to large cakes and premium gifts. You can see the current price for every product in the overview.
